In searching this forum and going over Rick Steve’s. guides I am interested in doing a Calanques Cruise. My ternary now has us 4 days with. Saint Remy de Provence as home base with rental car. 8th day was going to return rental car to Avignon and take train to Marseille that evening to fly out from MRS airport next day. Wondering if should try to get to Marseille earlier or try to access cruise from St. Remy home base? Am I trying to do too much and that boat has sailed??

Error- said “8th day” instead of 5th or last day.

You can catch tours (weather and sea conditions permitting) departing from Marseille's old harbor (Vieux Port). You'll see the tour companies on the north side of the Vieux Port, near the east end (where the fish vendors set up).
I took one from Cassis a few years ago and it was definitely worth the time.
