Does anyone know what ice gel packs are called in French? Also, where do you purchase them? In a pharmacy? Or e LeClerc, Monoprix, or Carrefore? If you buy them in a large retail store, what department?
Pharmacy, grocery stores, etc. will have them. They are sold at Decathlon in Paris. I think they are called compresse froide.
Bloc réfrigérant. Pain de glace.
Décathlon. Carrefour.
Toutes les grandes surfaces.
Le BHV if you are in Paris.
If you need something to place on an injured foot or ankle or another body part, you need a “compresse froide”. You can buy these at every pharmacy.
If you need something firm to use in a cooler, you’ll want a “pain de glace”. These are sold in supermarkets, camping gear stores etc etc.
In all stores with a camping accessories section or in stores specializing in camping. Also in Picard stores that sell frozen products.
Super U has them.
