Buying Eiffel tower tickets tonight

Hi

I am hoping to get tickets for Aug 5th and believe that they go on sale tomorrow morning at 0830 Paris time, which would be 0230 my time. I am going to set my alarm tonight for this purpose, but wondering if there's any way to confirm that this block of tickets will in fact be available and if anyone has any tips so that I am most able to get them, as I hear they sell out FAST.

Thanks.

I think you will be too early. Go on the website - it will probably tell you when they start selling tickets for August 5th, and it likely will be on June 6th. Edit: that's a guess, based on when the website told me that tickets for the date I want will go on sale.

It is now very unreliable. It used to be 90 days out but it no longer is. It is 60 days out or whenever after that, they get around to it. This May 5 is almost certainly a month early. But again, it is unpredictable these days.

I agree that purchase options are a wildcard. I was watching to buy tickets for early June for two months before they went on sale 45 days in advance. Admittedly, you are looking for August so it busy, but if you have any flexibility on day or time of day, I think you would be good waking up a smidge early to check and purchase, as opposed to 2:30am, which does not sound appealing. You may have several days to do this, so you don't want to get up early too many days in a row. But I also know you don't want to miss it!
Good Luck!

Thanks, everyone, for your feedback. I was certain that I'd read that they go on sale 3 months in advance somewhere. I don't understand why buying something that there is a finite number of is a crap shoot. I have to wonder if it's not a marketing ploy.

“I just looked at the site https://ticket.toureiffel.fr. If you indicate the date you want, and go through as if buying the ticket, you will get a message telling you when the tickets go on sale. August 1 tickets go on sale June 2.”

Thank you. When I tried that the other day, there was no message.

I’ve bought these tickets on many occasions. You’re best method to be successful is to “practice” selecting, adding to cart, buying (but don’t actually buy). They sell out in seconds so make several practice runs so you get the hang of it. Any delays on your part could result in the tix being sold out from underneath you.
