Bus Travel from Bayeaux to Honfleur

Hi
Just a quick question. Looking at day tripping from Bayeaux to Honfleur in September using the bus. Any suggestions? We do not want to take the train due to transfers and we will not have a car.

Thanks for the help.

Honfleur doesn't have a train station. The bus from Bayeux takes over two hours each way. This is a trip that a lot of people ask about, but unfortunately, they aren't well connected except by car. You can check the transportation on rome2rio.com.

There is extremely limited bus service between Bayeux and Caen. There are many more trains, so you'd probably find it more comvenient to take the train to Caen and switch to the bus there. As I recall, the Caen bus and train stations are very close together.

Because of the time required for trips out of Bayeux to coastal places to the east, of which Honfleur was not the only one on my list, I opted to split my time and spend several days in both Bayeux and Caen. If you only have a few nights in the area, doing that might not make sense for you.
