Bus to Geneva

Our group is going to Annecy on March 9, 2017 and originally thought about renting a car to go to Geneva for a day trip, and then get dropped off at a hotel in Geneva to catch a plane at the Geneva airport in the morning (the rest of the group would travel back to Annecy). Now we are thinking about taking the bus to Geneva airport on the morning of the 10th for our flight out at 10:20am. The apartment we are staying at is closest to the Annecy Gare Routiere station and I'm looking on Transalis to book the bus tickets to the Geneva airport. It is showing a bus leaving at 6:10am and arriving at the airport at 7:47am on the 10th.

Does this give us enough time to get checked in at the airport?
Do the buses usually run on time?
Does this sound like to best/most affordable way to get to the airport the morning of the 10th?

We (a couple) just recently took the bus from Annecy directly to the Geneva airport. It was on a week day morning, pleasant trip not that expensive, and on time. It was easy to buy the tickets in the morning and we had plenty of time to enjoy lunch at the airport before our flight. Enjoy Annecy.

I found this information on the website of the Geneva airport:

"Deadline for check-in
As a general rule, it is recommended that passengers present themselves for check in 2 hours before the flight leaves (2 hours and a half during winter weekends). The deadline for the checkin varies depending on the airlines.

"Deadline for boarding gate
As a general rule, it is recommended that passengers present themselves at the boarding gate 30 minutes before the flight leaves.

"Please confirm this information directly with your airline."
