We are taking a Rick Steve's Tour that ends in Chamonix and need to travel to Geneva for our flight home. I was wondering how often buses run or is there a train that serves that route. Also what is the cost? Thank you.

We took a shuttle from Chamonix to Geneva after our tour ended, But I think the SNCF "GO' busses were just starting to run that route. Chamonix Valley Transfers http://www.chamonix-valley-transfers.co.uk.

You can do it by train changing at St Gervais and the main station at Geneva, but it's a slow journey with many stops and a bus transfer will probably be quicker.

My daughter and I took the Chamexpress shuttle from Geneva’s Airport to our hotel in Chamonix.
You can also book this service in reverse

Thanks everyone. I checked out the Chamexpress and that seems like the way to go. I'm just wondering when I need to book the shuttle from Chamonix to the airport? I guess I should do it before leaving on our trip in June. Thanks again.

I recall contacting Chamexpress with some questions 2-3 months prior to our trip. However, I booked the shuttle 3-4 weeks in advance.
You may want to contact them with your questions.

I've done this twice in the other direction from GVA to Chamonix. Once with Alpy Bus, once with Chamexpress. Both worked flawlessly.
