Hi all,
I'll be in Paris in January 2026 and wanted to use Bus Route 69, particularly from Invalides to the Louvre.
This is the bus route Rick Steves recommends to see most of the monuments and museums.
I went to RATP to see the cost....glad I did as I was warned about upcoming road work.
The route will be interrupted until Jan17th, due to road work. Probably other bus routes too.
Recommend using the RAPT Website to get alternate route suggestions. This website has maps, you can determine the cost of your trip, what modes to travel to use, how long it will take you to get from one place to another and frequency of buses, trains, metro per line. It also has a tab just for tourists.

The Paris bus network has worsened a lot in the past few years, disruptions are commonplace and frequencies are lower than they used to. I often see 20+ min gaps in the middle of the day... It is critical to use the journey planner for any bus journeys!
