Since we won't be arriving back to Paris until 8:30 PM, I decided to spend the last night by the airport. Our morning flight leaves around 10:00. We don't need anything fancy. Just comfortable and includes breakfast. Less than $100 if possible. Can anybody suggest a hotel that includes a shuttle to the airport?
The Ibis at the airport proper is your best bet , but you are likely to find that the rates are higher than you expect . Still , with an early departure , this will be your best bet . http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/hotel-1404-ibis-paris-cdg-airport/index.shtml
Hi,
At CDG the hotel I've stayed a few times is Hotel Campanile, (a French chain) which does have a shuttle to the airport. Certainly it fits in the budget range for the last night in Paris before flying out. The restaurant is good for dinner and the breakfast the next morning....very nice place.
We liked the Ibis also. Inside the airport, right next to the shuttle, clean simple room, comfortable enough, adequate restaurant in the hotel, reasonably priced compared to Hilton and such. Don't know the Campanile. Smart to spend that last night at the airport so you can make your morning flight easily.
You should be AT not near the airport since you need to be at the check in 3 hours before the flight and the airport hotels are connected with the intra airport continuous shuttle.
They don't do $s, they do Euros and you are unlikely to find anything for this price.
We stayed twice at the Ibis budget Roissy CDG Nord 2 last October and would be happy to stay there again. I think our first night was about 85 euros including breakfast for two, and our second was 113 euros; there was a convention going on nearby, which sent the prices up. The ibis budget is definitely not fancy, in fact it reminded me a little of a cabin on a cruise ship, but the beds were comfortable and breakfast was tasty, and it was fine for a night.
The shuttle was quite reliable; it arrives every 20 minutes and takes around 30 minutes to get to the airport, starting at 5 am or thereabouts [fortunately our flight was at noon so we had a bit more time in the morning]. So you would want to take the ~6.20 shuttle.
We looked at staying in the airport, but it was significantly more expensive. You should check prices and then weigh the cost against your convenience.
