Brittany in early June

Hello All,
We want to visit Burgundy in early June, specifically the southern Morihan peninsula, near Vannes. I know it will be cooler there, but the climate ranges from 49-65 F. If any of you are from Bretagne or can advise me about the climate, I would be grateful. I realize that closer to the north western coast/English channel is much cooler and windier. But just not sure about the beach areas of Vannes & Morihan...especially now with climate change.
Thank you!

I go to Brittany about every month for work, and June is a very good time of the year to go. The days are long, and the worst of the rain should be behind you. In any case, even in high summer it is not always beach weather there: you should always be ready for some rain and/or wind.
And indeed, the Morbihan coast is milder than elsewhere in the region - I go to Finistère, where the weather is usually markedly worse.

You can find actual, day-by-day, historical weather data for Vannes and many other cities on the website timeanddate.com. The statistics usually go back about ten years. I like to look at the most recent five years' worth of data.

Hard to predict you will be lucky with the weather. However June is my favorite month to visit France, with temperatures around 20°C weather is / can be excellent and many times the sky deep blue, perfect for taking pictures. Going to the beach shouldn't be a problem, but no guarantee the sea water will be comfortable enough for swimming.
