Brittany guide book suggestions

Hello. Planning a trip in August. Ricks book of France just touching the areas of Brittany that we have already visited. Any experience with other books? Thanks in advance.

If you can read basic French, the best and most comprehensive tourist guides you can find are the Guides Vert Michelin (Green Guides) and the "Guide du Routard", in both cases there are two editions relating to Brittany. One for Southern Brittany and the other for Northern Brittany.

For example both Michelin guides, Southern + Northern contain about 1000 pages of information, text, maps, prices, timetables, hotel and restaurant addresses, etc.

You don't need to read French. The Michelin Green Guide for Brittany is available in English. I used it for my trip around Brittany and found it excellent.

Does Gallimard do a Brittany guide? Their other titles are fantastic.
Yo Yo, we too are planning for Brittany. Rough Guides is a worthwhile guidebook too.
Good luck.

As always, this group always comes through.
Believe it or not the Michelin green guides both English and French editions are tough to come by for some reason. Maybe an updated version coming out? One can only hope.

Well, that's a bummer. Maybe there is a new version coming. It looks like the most recent version availble is from 2019 and is available on Walmart.com.

Must say that the DK Eyewitness book was also a pretty good resource for Brittany.
Each guidebook offered its own unique value. One of the biggest tips that we ever came across for travel in India, was found of all places...in a Lets Go guidebook.
The pinchmarks are still there.
