Luckily, we got right on the phone and were able to rebook to get us in on 3/6.
Thank you so much, Kim, for alerting us to this possibility. Consequently, we had our contingencys all figured out. We’re even all packed and alerted the cat sitter so we can fly out Sunday.
Oh goodness. I am so sorry Becky but so glad they proactively found you a solution - and that you are available to take advantage of it since you had been planning for contingencies ! Wow.
Can you provide the details of what happened so others can check their flights for similar possibilities?
Anyone flying into Paris as of the 7th or next few days after really should be checking proactively with their airline at this point.
Just a heads up that I have found using the "chat" feature on the airline website as being fairly quick in these types of situations versus a phone call.
Britsh Airlines sent me a text saying our reservation was canceled. We had booked via the American Airlines site since they’re partners. When we called AA to rebook, they didn’t even know about the March 7th strike. But goad we booked through AA said since reaching them by phone was much easier than contacting British Airlines today.
