Brisbane seniors

2 Brisbane seniors touring Loire valley in October 2018 are seeking an independent guide with whom we can establish an itinerary for a 3-day tour of some of the Amboise area chateaux - willing to hire vehicle with associated insurances but not wanting to drive.

tours by locals probably has a guide that does the Loire and when you book a private tour you can negotiate the itinerary -- we did this in Moscow and St. Petersburg. It is pricey but it is one place to start. toursbylocals.com
I suspect there are local mini van tours that might suit and be less pricey than a private guide/car.

I'm pretty sure Rick's France book has some info on minivan hires in Amboise. Unfortunately, I threw out that chapter after we left there last month, so I can't look it up for you. A private guide for 3 full days is going to be pricey. Do you really need a guide to take you through the chateaux? Or are you mostly interested in the transportation from place to place?.

Loire Valley Time Travel would be a great way to visit some of the chateaux in style - in a vintage Citroen!
Even including wine tasting, if you wished. Note: they even have an Australian contact phone number.
If that still left you with a day spare, I'm sure they could advise how best to spend it on your own.
