Any recommendations for which bus stop is closest to the town of Auray? Traveling from Vannes on bus 5.Ben Franklin rd, La ballon or gare auray. Thank you.

Given that these 3 bus stops are IN Auray, it is impossible to say that one is closer to the town of Auray than the other.
It all depends on where you want to go in Auray

Gare Auray is a long uninteresting walk from the center of Auray(1.5k). Quai Ben Franklin is across the river in St Guostan. Not nearly as far and a more pleasant walk. Check it out on google street view.

Using my google translate app, I asked the bus driver which stop was closest to city center and Port de St. Goustan. She said to get off at the B Franklin stop. It was about a 10 minute to the center of Auray.I stopped in the tourism office for a walking map and they also confirmed that it was the closest to get back to Vannes. Thank you for everyone’s input. A suggestion: make sure you check what times the busses are running. They don’t run as frequently on certain days.
