Breakfast Options at Nice Ville?

We will be catching a 5:57 train out of Nice en route to Paris. I've been to the Nice station once before but I don't recall any of the food options. Is there anything open in the train station that early that would allow us to buy something to take on the train?

I don't recall, but why not buy something nonperishable the night before to munch on in the early morning. Doesn't solve the coffee problem if you are a caffeine addict, but that might be available on the train. In any case your will be travelling in France so what can be bad?

There are a few options you could consider for early departures like that....

ask your hotel to prepare a bag lunch with non-perishable items (that would be in place of the breakfast which you wouldn't be having at the hotel).
pick something up at one of the vendors in the station. As the previous reply mentioned, there should be at least one place open.
get something on the train. I assume you're using a TGV so there should be a dining car.
