Breakfast at Versailles?

Hi!
Has anyone had breakfast at Versailles as a way to avoid the crowds and access Versailles? A recent TikTok recommends breakfast at Versailles... has anyone done this? The breakfast fee is 50euros and then they promise entrance to the Versailles complex. TIA!

I went to Versailles in April with a teen. I bought tickets that had the earliest entry time for the day and arrived about 20-30 minutes before opening time. We got into the short queue for entry and got in easily without huge crowds. The teen and I had breakfast there, but it was a spontaneous decision, not our ticket into the palace. Breakfast is overpriced but also kind of fun.

Do you have a website you can link to your post? The one I found is vague. It says entry to the Palace is included but an different ticket is required for the gardens, but says nothing else.

that's a lot of money for a pistolet, a dab of butter, a mini-jar of jam and a bowl of café au lait....

My wife and I did this back in July and is totally worth it as you are escorted by the maître d' right to the security entrance therefore skipping the line. The price is 40 Euros pp which includes your entrance ticket, escort to the security line, breakfast which in my opinion was excellent as well as you are eating inside the Chateau de Versailles. The breakfast was substantial and I highly recommend anyone to do this as just for the experience.
