Four of us will be coming off the new riverboat cruise in Bordeaux early in the am on March 29 and need advice on transportation to the airport. Have been quoted $250.00 by the cruise line and thought that was expensive. Thank you

Yes, that sounds ludicrous. There is a bus every 45 minutes from various stops in central Bordeaux (http://www.bordeaux.aeroport.fr/en/info/jetbus-bordeaux-airport-shuttle-service, in English) that costs 7 euros standard fare or 6 euros for people under 26 or over 60.
If the boat comes in to the main city centre dock you can get the tram to the Victoire stop to change to the bus. If the dock is outside the city I'm afraid I don't know how to get into town. Cruise lines can sometimes be a bit vague about where they arrive to try to keep people on the overpriced official transportation.
