Bordeaux for a wedding, itinerary suggestions after?

My friends and I are going to a wedding in Bordeaux from July 21-24, 2020. This will be my first time in France, and we definitely want to go to Paris and Normandy. We plan on spending 13 days in Europe with 3-4 of those days in Bordeaux. How much time should we spend in Paris and Normandy? We love beer and want to check out Belgium, but do we have time or should we stick to France?

We like food, beer, wine, nature, and general exploring and are not as into art museums and overly crowded tourist areas so maybe 2-3 days in Paris is enough.

Open to flying in and out of anywhere since we have nothing booked. We are coming from California.

I would say it depends. Normandy can be anywhere from 2-7 days depending where at what you want to see and do in the region. D-day sites are 1-2 days. Paris is wide open. Given your indications of interests, personally I think 4 full days in Paris is plenty, but I'm sure others would say more depending on what your interests are as far as sites to see. With only 9 days after Bordeaux and one will be a travel day, I think trying to go to Belgium also might be too much. So either do Belgium and Paris or Paris and Normandy. Enjoy your trip.
