We are looking at a Bordeaux valley river cruise for the fall. Since all the river cruise companies have basically same itinerary, we are looking at going through Vacations by Rail, which starts in London (will spend a few days there to sightsee and recover from jet lag) takes the Eurostar to Paris, continuing by rail to Bordeaux, then a week on the MS Cyrano de Bergerac sailing thru wine country. Does anyone have experience with this company or the boat?
