Bordeaux car rental return at gare saint jean

If someone has returned a Eurocar rental to the train station in Bordeaux….

I read the post regarding rental returns from 2019, but I’m still not clear. I’ve done google street view (picture from 9 months ago) and see signs for Hertz, Enterprise, national, Sitz car rental return at P3 garage behind the train station on Pont du Guit labeled “ P3 - Gare Saint Jean Belcier” on google maps. Are Eurocars returned to same garage or is there a different garage on Rue Terrestrial Bordes?

Any clarification would be helpful so I can navigate husband stress free.

I assume you are not renting from this location? If you are, just ask them where
they want the car returned when you get the car.

If not, I would just pull up near the rental location and go inside and ask them
where they want the car.

A lot of times, the actual garage where the cars are located is not a place you
can directly access when you are returning a car.

Shoeflyer, we rented elsewhere so first time returning car at this train station. We know the return lot is not in the station and trying to clarify where to avoid driving in circles.

By specifying "Pont du Guit" in Bordeaux to your GPS, it should take you right in front of the parking entrance.

I don't have any personal experience with Europcar Bordeaux, but don't forget to take photos of the car (lots of photos!) And take photos with a flash; it's dark in the parking lot

According to Google reviews, the Europcar Bordeaux branch seems to have a strong tendency to overcharge.

Despite knowing exactly where to go to return car, we drove around the train station an extra time. There are a lot of turns, traffic, and construction, and my navigating skills severely lacked yesterday. Look for the big giant paintings of a squirrel and pigeon on a building and the garage is on the left in about 50 feet.

And Eurocar is in the fifth level. The person checking the car notice a barely visible smudge (not scratch) and said we’d have to pay. I showed him the Autoeurope voucher showing full coverage and zero deductible and agreed we were good to go.
