Bordeaux, Bergerac or St. Emilion?

We have a couple of extra days after a walking trip in the Dordogne before we return to Paris. We will not have a car. I’d love input as to which of these places would be worth a couple of days. We are looking at these because the train from Sarlat goes there but we are open to different suggestions as well.

Bordeaux, Bergerac or Saint Emilion are not the same thing at all.

Bordeaux is the sixth largest city in France, 10 times more populated than Bergerac which is itself 10 times more populated than St Emilion.

So everything will depend on your desire to spend theses days in a big city like Bordeaux with all the possibilities it offers in terms of things to see, to do, restaurants, hotels, public transport, but also noise, pollution, etc. Or stay in a quieter atmosphere in Bergerac closer to what you will have experienced in the Dordogne.
