Bookstores & mid-priced women's clothing stores in Paris?

Hello, are you interested in books in French or in English?

If you are looking for an english-language bookstore, I can indeed heartily recommend The Red Wheelbarrow.

We visited several of these bookstores when we were in Paris last month.

There are FNAC chain bookstores all over Paris, which have a good selection. There are also the famous Gibert Joseph and Gibert Jeune in the Saint-Michel area.

Paris is rich in book stores. Many are privately owned neighborhood centers and may also carry some stock in English. I suggest a google search using your lodging as a starting point and branching out from there. Below is another place to start.
