Booking a timed entry for Versialles with a Paris Museum Pass

I purchased a Paris Museum Pass and would like to book my timed entry to Versailles. I went on the site and cannot figure out how to do this. Is it possible to book a timed entry prior to going with the Museum Pass. I was able to do it for the Louvre with no issues. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

You book a free admission. They don't make it as clear as they should but the PMP is listed among the numerous categories of passes and statuses that allow for free admission if you get deep into the site. So book a free admission time slot and present that with your valid PMP and you should be good.

Had the same issue. Unlike the Louvre, the Versailles website is very difficult for PMP holders.

Just be careful about which ticket you book. You have two choices- booking just the Palace or booking the Passport which allows you access to everything, the gardens, the Trianon complex etc.. Both will give you a timed entry. Both can be booked by a person with the PMP card.

However; The PMP allows entrance to the whole complex for free, except you can not enter the gardens on days there is music or fountains running with just the PMP. In such event, if you want to enter the garden, you will need the book the passport and chose the “ reduced rate” which is 10€. If there are no special programs running in the garden book the passport as a person entitled to a free admission.

It is very confusing because there is also a different ticket for just the gardens with the fountains (10.5€). If you want it all just book the passport, indicating you are either entitled to a free or a reduced rate, depending on whether or not the gardens have the special program that day.

Originally I booked a timed Palace ticket, and was then trying to book a paid garden ticket until I read through all the ticketing deals, which is long. Even then I was confused until I read the reduced rate section. That’s where it is explained that the PMP allows you to buy a reduced rate ticket to the complex on special garden days.
