Great article in today's New York Times about the reopening of the Rodin Museum on November 12th. To see his sculptures - as well as the studio and art collection - is a treat. I've always considered the Rodin understated among Paris' fine museums. Touring the mansion itself and viewing the pieces in the beautiful gardens provides pleasant relief from some of the stuffy and overcrowded sites. Tres convenient to visiting Napoleon at Les Invalides.
Thanks for sharing! Definitely a highlight... well, one of many, of my favorite city!
Philip,
I am happy to hear this news! I agree that the Rodin is a lovely place to visit and enjoy a little peace in the elegant garden. I even saw a little bunny rabbit when I was there in 2014, so cute and probably a little tame. And, of course, I am a fan of his sculptures, too.
Thanks,
Judy B
