Bonjour, advice on day trip to Loire Valley from Paris

We have read it is doable in RS guide book with a tour/ shuttle but where do we book such a trip? In the guide book it mentions TI but where are they located in Paris? Also working on our own itinerary for the city of Paris and notice good planning is needed as to certain closed days of key sights. Merci Beaucoup, in advance for any and all advice! We are going in late August.

Most missions close either Monday OR Tuesday , so those are the days you have to really plan out .
I would book a tour via ACCO DISPCO online ( just google easy to find them reliable small van tours well reviewed)
The tours start in either Amboise or Tours.
See which interest you most and book the tour then buy train ticket to either city ( it's too soon now ) .

Also there is apparently a TI office right by train station on Tours ( I do not know this first hand so confirm ) where you can buy a tour .

Conversely you could train to Tours and rent a car and drive yourself .

Finally there are the big bus Tours that leave from Paris ($$) indid one years ago and thought it was fine , however I had already been to Loire Valley on a three day visit so had already seen some of the palaces once before .

Ideally if you could do an overnight in area it really is the best way, I loved visiting the chateaus

Paris City Vision and Paris-Trip both offer "tours from Paris" to the Loire Valley region. It won't be cheap, but it'll get you right there and back.
