Hello everyone,
We will be staying the month of April in Chateauneuf-de-Faou and would like to rent a canal boat for about three days. I have been looking at all the major companies but would like to use a small local or family firm. Is this possible? Has anyone done this? Any ideas? As usual, thanks for any help you can give me. With the HUGE disclaimer that I have no personal experience with this provider, BUT travel friends have used her services (who were totally delighted), Google the Barge Lady. Not sure if she would have a barge for your particular route, but I believe she organizes barges for a group as small as 6....and I think (don't know for sure, though), they may be staffed boats.
