I'm taking this trip next Spring, and on Day 3 we will end our morning at the Louvre. We will have the Museum Pass but does anyone know if I should also book a reserved time to get in?

It took me a while to figure out BO stands, I assume, for Best of and maybe you mean Paris, not France?
Since most people on the forum don't take Rick Steves tours, it's helpful to spell out the words, and also helps to post in the tour section.

I'm thinking OP may mean Paris and the Heart of France tour since that one indicates a free afternoon after the Louvre on Day 3. BOTH Best of Paris and Paris and Heart of France tours include entry to the Louvre so you do not need to book a reserved time slot to enter. You will go in with the tour and can remain behind to continue seeing what you'd like in the museum.
I do suggest you have a sit-down break with food and a beverage to give yourselves a 2nd wind if you opt to stay in the museum!
As to what forum, I just go in to the All Topics view and read down the list opening threads that are of interest without regard to the forum they are listed under. I think this is a fine location for this question.
