Bluvan shuttle CDG/Paris city center

Has anyone used Bluvan shuttle? We are a group of 4 who need transportation from CDG to Port Grenelle (Viking River Cruise) and later from a Paris hotel back to CDG. Reservations can be made online, but must be paid in full at booking. Just wondering if they are reliable.

I've never heard of this name, but if you search this website, you will will very few positive comments about shuttles in Paris.

Your question has raised one giant flashing red strobe light trying to tell you to go elsewhere: you say
must be paid in full at booking

There have been plenty of stories here about drivers not turning up, and in some cases when claims are made saying that they were there but you weren't.

This may be the exception that proves the rule. Perhaps other writers will pop up with better answers or relate better experiences.

Good luck.

Most people in Paris are satisfied with normal taxis.

Thank you Nigel for your helpful comments. I am still researching our options and am hoping others will share their experiences with shuttle services.

for 4 people a taxi is the most reliable and most obvious solution. It will cost about 55 Euro plus 3 Euro for the 4th passenger and one Euro for each suitcase. This is not a shuttle culture and there is no need for the service between the excellent taxi system and the very reliable public transport. If you prepay and they don't show, they keep your money. Just go get in the taxi queue and don't worry about the connection.

And definitely never take a shuttle TO the airport for a high stakes flight -- it is not always easy to grab a cab at the last minute for an airport run when you are running late and they haven't shown up.

Most services like this work most of the time for most people -- the question of reliability is always at the margins.
