Can anyone recommend some hotels and restaurants in Biarritz? We will be flying there and want to stay 2 nights prior to beginning a Rick Steves tour of the Basque country.

If you find hotels in Biarritz too expensive, have a look at Bidart just a few miles further south on the coast. Nice little place that no one has ever heard of.

so happy you're going to this area of france. my bff is from saint-jean-pied-de-port. sent you message (really a novel) haha about different villages and places to see, forgot restaurants but you'll find them, go down the alleys. hope this does some good for you
