Biarritz Airport Bus to Bayonne

Hi,
I will taking the RS Basque tour in September (starts in France and ends in Spain) and need to get from the Biarritz airport to my hotel in Bayonne. The RS Spain guidebook only shows Chronoplus Lines A1 and A2 about 5 per hour. The web site showing the schedule seems to only be in French without an english option.

I just need to know where to pick it up at the airport and where it will drop me in Bayonne. Also the one way price would be helpful and if I can pay the driver or if I can book on line, etc.

I'm looking for someone who has taken this bus to give me some helpful insight. I also have this on the Spain Forum. I know my next option is a cab but I am arriving early for the tour and have a little time.

Thanks,
Liam

I believe that you should have already received first and last hotel information with directions (as part of your tour confirmation email). That document includes something like this:

Option 1: Bus - The local bus line, called Chronoplus, offers buses leaving for downtown outside the arrivals area at the airport. Follow the signs to the buses, or ask at the information desk. Take bus line C in the direction of Bayonne or Saint Pierre-d'Irube to get downtown. Purchase a ticket for around €1 directly from the driver. There are 2 buses per hour daily from 7:00-19:00, and the trip takes about 25 minutes. Get off the bus at the Bayonne Mairie stop (it may be listed only as "Mairie" or "Bayonne Mairie"). It is the only stop on this route with the word Mairie. From there it is a short walk to the hotel.

Thanks Laura,
Your description is exactly what I was looking for.
After reading my Basque Tour confirmation letter showing my first and last hotel it looks like i will recieve the hotel directions one month prior to my tour.

Thanks again,
Liam
