If you could stop at only one, for a few hours, maybe lunch, which one would you choose??
They're not similar at all. If you want rural charm: Beuvron en Auge. If you want to experience the charm of a long-gone wealthy harbor: Honfleur.
Depending how you drive, Honfleur is easy to reach coming from Pont de Normandie and Beuvron from the A13 freeway / toll road. If you are driving from Paris to Caen of Bayeux like most do you can visit Honfleur first and having enough time you can make a detour to Beuvron just for having a look without losing much time.
Three times is a charm. We visited Beauvron, Honfluer, and Sainte-Wandrille, before arriving in Rouen from Bayeux. Thank you all for your input!
Glad you enjoyed your trip. Saint-Wandrill is lovely, had not the idea it's touristy during the two times I have visited it. I combined it with the abbeys of Jumièges and Saint-Martin-de-Boscherville, nice area to explore btw.
