My train comes into Versailles Rive Droite station from Paris Saint Lazare. Once I arrive at the Versailles Rive Droite station, what is the best way to get to the Palace of Versailles? Thanks for the help!
www.viamichelin.com/ has excellent maps. Make a screen print.
Hang a left out of the station and walk along Rue du Marechal Foch, then take a diagonal right on Ave Nepveu N. About a 1/2 mile walk.
Follow the signs and the crowds; it will be obvious.

No, she is coming into a station that is not used by many tourists heading to the chateau. Sam's description is good. It's about a 20 minute walk to the chateau from Rive Droite. You will pass through downtown Versailles, which is a nice town. Foch passes through one of the two main squares. If you turn right on Rue Carnot just before Ave Nepvue/Ave St. Cloud (the angled boulevards) you'll head right to the other charming little square. Go left out of that square a block and you'll be right in front of the chateau.
