Best way to get from CDG to Hotel b Montmartre in Paris?

We (2 of us) are arriving at CDG on 7 Sept at 1:40 PM and I would like some advice on getting from the airport to our hotel. Shuttle, train or taxi; it really doesn't matter which way as long as we make it to the hotel. Any websites that can provide some information would be helpful also. Thanks in advance for any information.

Best depends on your priorities. Cheapest would be to take the RER from the airport and switch to the metro, if that get you near the hotel.

Easiest would be to take a cab, 56 euro flat rate to the right bank. Go to the official taxi rank, ignore the touts, have the address written on a card, verify they will accept card and the rate.

There are no shuttles. Taxi is best IMO. No need to book in advance. Follow the signs to the official taxi line. Confirm that they will take credit card before getting in the car - they are required to by law, but some try to get around it by saying the machine is broken.

I don’t like taking the RER from the airport, especially after a transatlantic flight. I want my wits about me in public transportation.

I agree with the taxi suggestion. The connection from the RER B to to Metro Line 12 (one of the two lines that stop near your hotel) is a bit of a walk. The RER stop is below ground and you have to make your way to an above ground stop. it's not difficult but it is about 1 10-minute walk so I think that a taxi would be a better option if the budget allows.

Here is a link to the locations of the official taxi stands at CDG, the cost, how long trip should take, etc: https://www.parisaeroport.fr/en/passengers/transport-parking/taxi/cdg

Their machine will magically start working if you tell them it is credit card or nothing. Don't fall for the scam, and don't bother asking. They will take credit cards.

I agree with official taxi being the simplest.
