Best way to get from CDG Terminal 2 to Gare de l’est train station

We’re getting confused on the best way to go to the Paris Gare de l’est train station by bus when we arrive into CDG terminal 2 at the end of this week. Can anyone walk us through this? Thanks in advance!

You have, as I see it, two choices. Choice One: follow the arrows painted on the floor to the official taxi stand and take a taxi for 53€ to Gare de l'Est. Do not go with anyone who approaches you and offers you a ride. Have the destination written on a card along with 53€ and hand it to driver after saying Bonjour (assuming you do not speak French). Choice two: take the RER B to Gare du Nord and walk from there to Gare de l'Est. Here is a step by step guide to catching the RER B at CDG https://parisbytrain.com/charles-de-gaulle-airport-cdg-to-paris-by-train/. The cost is 10.30€ per adult. At Gare du Nord, you can choose to walk to Gare de l'Est or take Metro Line 4 or Line 5. I'd walk. If you have a lot of luggage or do not know how to make yourself pickpocket proof, take a taxi.

I believe that route 350 no longer goes to Gare de L’Est. It now ends at Porte de la Chapelle.

Interesting. The ratp site shows the bus stop as 76 bl de Strasbourg, which is less than a block from the station.

Warning: over ten years ago when taking the 350, jams were such that the bus dropped us at the Porte de la Chapelle and turned around. Qa

Thanks everyone for your help! We have decided to take the train to Gare du Nord and walk (if the weather is good) or hop on the metro to Gare de l’est. We’ll only have carry on bags so it should be an easy walk! So thankful for this forum. Happy travels!!

Honestly with carry on luggage, Nord to Est is an easy walk even if it rains. Very well signed, too. More pleasant than line 4!
