Best transportation option from Latin Quartier (5th arr.) for CDG

I have a flight from CDG @ 8:50am and am staying on Rue des Ecoles in the 5th. What are my best alternatives for early morning? I am not too worried about price and I will only have a carrry on.

We used the car service "Paris Webservices" recommended in the RS guide. They give a discount if you show them your RS book, or at least they did when we were there.

Paris Webservices also sells Museum Pass and other tour tickets, but the car service was excellent. They give you fairly foolproof ways to contact them if your flight is delayed (obviously, that's more of a concern incoming than departing, but still). The car was new and clean, the driver courteous and fluent in English.

I had a similar early morning flight and planned to arrive at CDG by 6 from the 6th arr. and just had a taxi arranged--55 euro and no fuss at all.

(edited to correct prices per Janet's sharp eye!)

I should make a copy and paste so I can paste it every time someone recommends a shuttle or car service to get to/from the airports in Paris.

Since the authorities fixed the prices of airport runs for taxis, there is NO REASON to take a shuttle or car service. If your plans don't involve public transportation, just take a taxi. 55 euros to/from the Left Bank for up to four people; 50 euros to/from the Right Bank for up to four people. Four euros add'l fee if you reserve the taxi, or seven euros if you reserve it in advance (i.e. the night before).

Why anyone would pay a shuttle's fees and spend the time going around town to drop off or pick up others is beyond me. Either take the RER, the RoissyBus, the 351 bus, Le Bus Direct, or take a taxi. The days of shuttles are over.

Kim is right except she has the $s reversed -- it is 50 from the right bank and 55 from the left. Arrange with G7 taxi English line +331.41.27.66.99. It costs an extra 7 to order ahead but well worth it when a high stakes trip to the airport is required. They are very reliable. Be down and ready to go 5 minutes ahead.

I would call G7Taxis - or use their website or app the day before you leave Paris.
Follow the guidelines for your airline for check-in allowance time.
I'd allow 40 minutes to get to CDG, if you leave before 6 AM.

If you're staying in an apartment, make arrangements for early check-out beforehand.

Be waiting on the sidewalk - taxis can't wait around.

I like Le Bus, but it wont get you to CDG early enough. So take a taxi. Simple, fast, comfortable.

Le Bus Direct does not really go near Rue des Ecoles so you would have to take mass transit or a taxior walk more than 20 minutes to get to the nearest stop.

G7 app is great. We used it for a 6:45 a.m. taxi reservation last week, booked the day before (€62.40 from Left Bank; includes €7 extra for pre booking, not sure what the .40 was about but whatever). Download the app pre trip and set up your credit card info. G7 confirms booking, very efficient.

I don't have the timetables, but if you can walk to the RER Luxembourg station it's a direct €10 per person ride to CDG.
