Best Sunday Brunch in Paris?

I'll be treating my mother to a mother's day in Paris this year the first week of May. I'm trying to make sure everything is perfect. The two Sunday brunches I've seen most people recommend are Le Grand Brunch at the Ritz and Cafe de la Paix. Has anyone on here ever tried either (or both?) and can offer recommendations? Or even recommendations for something else entirely. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I found the welcome and the service at the Café de la Paix so snooty that we walked out before being served. Will never go back.

Adding my complete agreement to What HappyToBeHere said about Cafe de la Paix. The person who greeted us was so self-important that it was painful. It sounds like you want the big, fancy brunch buffet for your mother and if so, take a look at La Cuisine in Le Royal Monceau - Raffles. I think that it is around US$200 per person but it is very elegant and lovely.

Brunch is a fairly new, imported phenomena in France. Sunday lunch is the tradition. My favorite place to go for Sunday lunch is La Coupole, a brasserie with bling, buzz, history, and people watching. https://www.lacoupole-paris.com/

French Mother's Day, la Fête des mères, is the last Sunday, May 31st, so it won't be crowded with mom's being treated, but it will be crowded with Parisians and visitors so reservations are necessary.
