We are visiting Provence in May and would like to take a day trip to St. Tropez. I would like to go to the Place de Lices Market in the morning and my husband would like to hit the beach after that. Can anyone tell us what the best beach in St. Tropez is that is open to the general public or are they all private beaches? If they are private, can we rent chairs and an umbrella or are they just available for hotel guests? Your help is greatly appreciated. I know there are other beach areas that are just as nice but hubby really wants to go to St. Tropez.
