Hi,
We will be arriving at Lyon airport late afternoon September 26th and want to take a route taking us through the Alps arriving in Turin September 30th with stops on the way. A suggestion where to stay the night of September 26th is also welcomed - not Lyon as we have already there last year as well as Anncey. Any suggestions for a route and villages to stay in along the way to have the alpine experience? Is snow a problem at this time of year? Is the route D 1091 safe to drive through on all stretches?
