Best Italian restaurant in Paris?

Just have to share a funny story told by an American friend living in a small village in Tuscany. This was about 25 years ago, and he said people in the village generally didn't travel except to Florence and perhaps to the seaside in August.

One year a family went to Paris for Christmas. When they returned, of course all their neighbors asked them how they enjoyed Paris. Their response, with a nonplussed shake of the head: "Nothing to eat!" (in other words, no decent Tuscan food to be found in Paris)

Hi adonaho, our favorite Italian restaurant in Paris is Alfio, 43 avenue de la bourdonnais, 75007 Paris. Great food, excellent service, right around the corner from the Eiffel Tower. The spaghetti Bolognese is wonderful, great pizza too.
