No longer valid as of yesterday. Too many Americans showed up and it slowed down vaccinations, which is the first priority. They are telling people to try different vaccination centers-- reported in an ex-pat group here in France yesterday evening.

Remember that we're 6-9 hours ahead of you, so if we learn something, we'll post it.

So it’s my understanding that there is a vaccination center and almost every arrondismont? Since I generally stay out the 13th or 14th I’m pretty familiar with that area maybe that’s where I’ll try when I come

However I keep coming back to why doesn’t someone set something up at the airport. Hopefully they will actually do something like that in the next few weeks. Hey just charge me $100. And I know that someone has said that it’s not allowed to charge, but obviously there’s a way around that because originally you could not charge tourists for the Covid testing and now you can. I

Bets. I’m currently in Europe and just received word from the person that sent me the link. Best laid plans tend to change. Guess I’ll stick with the CDC card. Appreciate your follow up.

Since you are here, these two places were reported yesterday:

Univers-Pharmacie 24 Blvd Sebastopol Paris 2
(That's north of Notre Dame/ Les Halles)

Pharmacie de l'Opéra at Place de l'Opéra 1 rue Auber
Someone paid 20€.

Bonne chance
It's almost 5pm, so hurry.

So the US suddenly placed France on a Level 4 - Do Not Travel - status. We have our flights booked for Thursday and wanted to check with folks who might either be there or are planning to go soon. How does it look? Is it that dangerous? I am assuming restaurants and shops etc. are open? I know that the Health Pass is now mandatory so that - atleast in my mind - should make it safer.

Just am a bit concerned about this new Level 4 cateforization by the CDC.

We are not new to Paris, so we will not be visiting museums etc. We are also all fully vaccinated.

Any thoughts would be appreciated! How does Champs-Elysee look? Place du Tertre? Opera area?

Just trying to be prudent here.

Thanks!
