Best French destinations from geneva?

Annecy and Chamonix Mont Blanc

My husband and I are leaving for a trip in two weeks and are taking the train from Lausanne to head to Beaune, France! Easy train Lausanne to Dijon and then Dijon into Beaune. About three hours if I’m remembering correctly!

Lyon is a great place, and very reachable in as little as 2 hours by train, or even less than car.

Much more close, I've enjoyed Yvoire along the Lac as well.
