My family ( college aged children) are visiting Paris in March and would like to find best tour by boat options to experience Paris in the evening on the Seine. Any suggestions on favorable companies to use. Thank you!

Consider Vedettes Pont Neuf. We've taken several night time cruises with them and have always enjoyed the experience. We've never had to have a reservation, although that might have changed in recent months. Wouldn't hurt to check to be sure.
