Looking for an amazing Chateau in Amboise to stay in May 7-9. I will be traveling with two other friends, so three women total. Would prefer breakfast included and an amazing view!

Since May 8th is a holiday in France and a three-day weekend, you are a bit late getting around to this. Look on booking.com and include hotels that are sold out. Then call the hotels directly to see if they still have rooms available that aren't showing on booking.com. Don't know if you'll be able to find a chateau, but you might be able to find a room for three somewhere.

See if Chateau de Pray has openings. It's outside of Amboise, so you'll likely want to rent a car- especially if you want to visit the grand chateaux.

We stayed at Chateau de Nazelles (http://www.chateau-nazelles.com/) last fall and really enjoyed it. It's in a little village approximately 2 miles outside Amboise, and it meets your wish for breakfast included and an amazing view. But to Bets' point, it may be fully booked this close to your travel dates. Good luck!

We rented a small apartment at Villa Concorde in Amboise last summer that was literally across the street from the Chateau. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment, but there are a couple of other units in the house. We thought the apartment was perfectly situated just a short walk (5 minutes at most) from the city center, and well-equipped with everything we need. My bedroom window was literally 20 feet from the chateau wall.
