I am heading to Menton for 3 days and Antibes for 2 in May. I will be with my dad who is not a beach guy, so I probably will only get one day to relax at a beach and swim in the med. I know we will want to rent beach chairs and an umbrella. Please advise as to where the best place in either location would be to spend one day splashing about. Any thoughts on restaurants in those areas would be great as well.

Thank you for the restaurant tip, I looked it up and the food looks lovely! I am so excited to take a dip in the med. I would also love to take a short boat excursion, hopefully that will not be a hard thing to track down once I'm there ;)

I'm not a beach guy either, but the beach at Juan Les Pins (near Antibes) had sand rather than rocks. I don't remember Menton's beach, but be aware that many of the beaches are rocky, if that bothers you.
