I've never booked train tickets in Europe and have to book for 8 adults Paris to Arles. I see a lot of different trains and apps. I'm thinking best way is to try and take something with no connections because we might be too slow or lost to switch trains in a timely fashion! Does one Paris station tend to have more TGV trains than another? Any pitfalls to watch out for? Any help is appreciated!
There are direct high-speed trains each day taking about four hours from Paris Gare de Lyon train station to Arles. You can buy them from the French national train company’s website at www.SNCF-Connect.com
You can also buy the train tickets of the budget subsidiary of SNCF called Ouigo at www.Ouigo.com/en
Tickets go on sale up to six months in advance and the earlier you buy them the less expensive they will be.

Just note that as a budget train offering, OuiGo seats are less comfortable, and more of them are crammed into the same space.
For comfort, I would recommend the fegilar TGV (called InOui), which you will find on the SNCF Connect website and app
