Best and Cheapest way to cover French Riviera in 2 days

I am looking to spend 2 days in the French Riviera. Is it possible to visit The Russian Orthodox Church, The Mattise & Chagall Museum, The Rothschild Villa and the Picasso Museum in 2 days? I will be traveling with 2 teenagers! I am pretty energetic and have done all of the key spots in Paris in a day and half.

I can't answer your questions- but if you plan to visit the Rothschild villa I warmly recommend the book The Hare With Amber Eyes. It's a history of a family and a netsuke collection and one of the family married a Rothschild and lived in that villa. Having read the book I can't wait to visit it. Have a great trip!

It seems doable, although at a really frenetic pace. I would check the opening hours of all these places. The Matisse and Chagall museums aren't that far apart, and the Russian Orthodox Church (if I've got the one you mean) isn't that far from them.
The Picasso museum is in Antibes, but you might be able to get down there, and then back to the Rothschild villa (if you're staying in Nice, otherwise the logistics might be different).
Presumably the museum hours are over before dinner, so you can stroll around Vieux Nice and find a restaurant.

Are you going to have a car? That would seem the most practical, but maybe not totally necessary.

Ashley,
Totally doable. We just returned from the French Riviera a few weeks ago. We did the Chagall and Matisse museums in one long morning, before lunch, using the very easy to use Nice bus system (follow Rick's advice). Linking Antibes and the Picasso Museum with Villefranche sur Mer (have lunch on the water), the Rothschild Villa, and St. Jean Cap Ferrat would make for a great day. We used both trains and buses to get around, but took the bus from Villefranche sur Mer to St. Jean Cap Ferrat (it goes right by the Villa), then did a delightful walk along the water from Cap Ferrat to Beaulieu sur Mer, where you can take the train or bus back to your hotel. This is all laid out in Rick's book. Not sure where you are planning to stay but we LOVED Antibes and Hotel Relais du Postillion! Have fun!
