If saving money, rather than time, is essential, you could fly Amsterdam-Charles de Gaulle and then the train from the airport to Strasbourg, about 90 minutes. That would save maybe $100 US over the frequent but relatively costly flight AMS-Strasbourg. taking a little over an hour, plus all the time consumed by security etc.
