Looking to book accommodation in Avignon/Provence area. We'll have a car. Staying 2 nights before heading to Nice. Any suggestions?

2 nights is short: what are your top sightseeing priorities in the area?
Without further info, I am going to suggest either:
(1) the Arles, Les Baux & possibly Saint-Rémy area. Fontvieille, Maussane and Saint-Remy would be good bases with a car. I've had good recent feedback from Hotel Belesso in Fontvieille.
(2) the Luberon. Goult is a perfect central base and I highly recommend Villa Lumières. My parents also enjoyed their stay at La Maison des Ocres in Roussillon a year ago.
With a car, I would lean towards the Luberon, because you don't need a car to visit Arles. But it all depends on what you want to see!

We adored Le Mas Perreal (https://masperreal.com/) outside the village of Saint Saturnin-Lès-Apt. Extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. Delicious breakfasts. Lovely pool. Easy driving to Roussillon, Sault, and more. We fell in love with the Luberon here.
