Bed and breakfasts/Chambres d'hôtes near Arles/St Remy and Aix-en Provence

Website recommendations or specific B&B's you have enjoyed near Arles and Aix, please!

Four of us, two college sophomores now and 2 moms, will have only 2 days to spend in Provence on July 17 and 18 after spending 5 days in Paris and the Dordogne before our daughters start work on an organic farm near Aix and the moms fly back to the States. I have organized a charming bed and breakfast in the Dordogne, and now need a place to stay near Arles and Aix.

Does anyone have website or a specific bed and breakfast/ Chambres d'hôtes to recommend? We found the one in the Dordogne through a website Rick Steve's recommended . . . looks perfect. Thank you for your help! Molly

We loved Hotel Sous les Figuiers in St. Remy. It's a hotel but feels more like a B&B. Right in town but in a quiet area. Check out their website.

Rick's book has several hotel recommendations in each city and some using the attractive names of "Mas" or "Chambres d'hotes." HIs listings in St. Remy and Aix don't mention quad rooms, if you were looking for that as a way to save money, but these hotels in Arles do: www.hotel-muette.com or www.hotel-regence.com.

We enjoyed a two-brief stay at Le Clos de Frere Gris, a beautiful, comfortable home on lovely grounds outside of Aix in Provence last May. Caroline and Hubert are wonderful hosts. A visit to Cezanne's Atelier was a highpoint in Aix.
I will second the recommendation for Hotel Sous les Figuiers in St. Remy: a quick walk to the town center and a beautiful garden.
