We were very pleased with le Petit Matin, recommended in the France guidebook also.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Mogador. The breakfast was not only delicious, but extremely social. We traded information with the other guests on meals, museums, etc.

If you have a car, check out www.banbnormandie.com. We loved it there, about 10 miles est of Bayeux in a 400 year old farm where the breakfasts were to die for from Odile. Easy access to the motorway to Mt. St. Michel or to the D Day beaches, about 20minutes. Bayeux is a delightful town with many fine cafes but there are many other little towns with real French mom and pop places too. We liked to stop in Tille-sur-Seulles, on the road to Villers-Bocage where our B&B was located.

I know you are looking for a B&B, but there are some great hotels in Bayeux.
We stayed at Hôtel d'Argouges and loved it (breakfast is extra).
The town has several really nice small hotels and the town is a wonderful place to wander around, enjoy a glass of wine, have a nice dinner.
We booked our tours to D-Day beaches and Mont St. Michel out of Bayeux and they picked (the 8 of us) up in the parking lot in town center - right across from our hotel. Are you planning tours to D-Day areas and Mont St. Michel?
We stayed 3 nights and could have stayed longer (took the train from Paris)
Happy Travels.

Another vote for Le Petit Matin. Very comfortable, convenient, wonderful breakfast. Friendly helpful host. We were there two nights in April.

I stayed at La Tour Louise guesthouse in Bayeux. It was very nice, friendly host, great breakfast, reasonable rates. Great location pretty much next to the cathedral, in fact my window had a great view of the cathedral. Free parking available. It's in an original 18th century bldg and it looks like it's been renovated again in 2015 (I stayed there in 2012 and it was already very updated then).
