During the France part of our European trip we are interested in touring some of the great gothic cathedrals. Beauvais seems quite interesting while locating information is a bit difficult. Does anyone recommend touring the Beauvais Cathedral?

Even just being a slice or a chunk cathedral it is impessive and I enjoyed the visit very much last month. One of the facades is cleaned up recently and shines brilliantly under the sun. Actually the best part was imagining how insanely big it would have been if completed. Had not the idea Beauvais has so much more to offer, besides maybe the two museums nearby the cathedral, which I didn’t visit, but the cathedral itself is certainly worth a visit. Have to say that Beauvais despite for the rest not looking attractive, it has a pleasant atmosphere.
